Rob Leathern
CEO & Co-founder

Rob Leathern

Rob has spent his career on the front lines of platform trust and safety, which is a polite way of saying he's spent years fighting scammers and losing sleep over it. He was VP of Privacy and Security Product at Google and led Business Integrity at Meta, building the systems that defend billions of people from fraud and abuse. Before that, he did eight years as a startup CEO and took two companies all the way to acquisition. Regulators across the US, EU, UK, and Australia have asked for his take on deceptive ads and online harm — and unlike most people who get calls from four governments, he actually picks up.

Co-founder

Ben Poiesz

Ben spent nine years at Google, rising to Director in Google Core Privacy and serving as the founding PM for Android Privacy & Security — meaning if your phone has ever stopped an app from doing something shady, you can partly thank him. He went on to lead Cloud, Data, and Client infrastructure at Grammarly (now Superhuman), scaling the systems behind AI products used by millions every day. His work lives at the intersection of privacy, machine learning, and the unglamorous infrastructure that makes both trustworthy at scale. Someone has to love the plumbing. It's Ben.

Co-founder

James McCrindle

James brings two decades of engineering to InfoHawk, four of them at Meta teaching AI to sniff out fake and compromised accounts across Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp — essentially playing whack-a-mole against bots who never sleep. Earlier he co-founded his own startup and spent six years leading engineering at a fintech, where fraud prevention and reliability weren't features, they were the difference between existing and not. That blend of adversarial ML at platform scale and hands-on engineering leadership is exactly what real-time fraud defense demands. Fraudsters hate this one weird co-founder.
